Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed teaching his sons to hunt instilling in them the deep love of the sport. He and Earlene enjoyed many hours fishing on Lake Talquin. They both enjoyed traveling around the southeast on back-roads and checking out good barbecue joints. Being raised on a farm he learned quickly how to work hard, and that work ethic stayed with him all his life. Above and beyond his love for hunting and fishing was his love for his family, and his pride in them. He felt that his family was his greatest gift, and they all felt he was their greatest gift.
Larry was a man of honor and integrity and was above all, the best husband and father. He guided us all through our lives with love, laughter and wisdom, and has left us with amazing memories and so many stories. His family will miss him terribly.
