Julie Marie Michelle Zarate

Julie Marie Michelle Zarate, 53, left us on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 after a 5 year battle with appendiceal cancer.
Born in Dallas, Texas, Julie was the first daughter of Raul Robert Zarate and Juanita Russell. She was a wife and mother, and lived in Texas until relocating to Tallahassee, Florida, where she had a successful career in the medical field.

Julie enjoyed comedies, time at the beach, her pets, and seeing her family and friends succeed. She was loved and appreciated for knowing how to have a fun time, and also for her intense love and caring spirit.

Julie is survived by her son Michael Brandon Marsters (34) and daughter Darla Gale Marsters (32). Her partner Steven Djuth of 12 years. Her sister Cindee Dugan. Her brothers Robert Zarate, Richard Zarate, John Zarate, and Will Russell. Her entire family, biological or chosen.

Family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 16, 4-6pm. at Faith Funeral Home 6972 FL-GA Hwy Havana, FL 32333 Celebration of Life will be Sunday, Feb. 17,2019 at 3pm. in the afternoon, at the funeral home.
