James Benjamin Grantham

James B. Grantham 79, of Havana, FL. passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 after a battle with vascular dementia at Big Bend Hospice House.The graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Tallahassee National Cemetery with military honors. Grantham in Marianna, FL. After graduating from Marianna High School in 1960 he went on to Chipola College and then after two years went on to his military service in the U S Air Force at Wright Patterson in Dayton, Ohio. After his military service, he continued his education at Florida State University, where he received his degree in 1968. He was audit manager 1968-1999 for state of Florida Agencies. From 1999 to 2003 he was program manager for Florida Department of Transportation, he retired in 2003. Jim enjoyed retirement, fishing and he love to do Sudoku and rocking on his front porch in Lake Tallavana. He met and married Jeannette Keith Grantham, October 9,1965 in Dayton, Ohio. Jim is survived by his children Jennifer Lynn Grantham and James Nathan Grantham. His sister Pat Jensen (Carroll) and his brother John H. Grantham (Peggy) and Jerry Grantham (deceased)Memory donation’s can be made to Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Florida.
