Guy McDowell Martin, 89 of Havana, FL passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at his residence.Graveside funeral service, with Military Honors will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Tallahassee National Cemetery.Mr. Martin was born on December 18, 1931 in Enterprise, AL. The son of the late Margaret Rebecca Benningfield. He was a U S Army veteran. He was retired superintendent for a road and bridge building Company.He is survived by his brother Wayne Benningfield (and wife Donna), his sister Faye Dawkins (and husband Earl). His children Tim Martin, Andy Martin, Fred Martin, Susan Martin Lewis (and husband Randy) and Teresa Martin. His grandchildren Michael Martin, Daniel Lewis (and wife Chelsea), Cody Martin, Jesslyn Martin, Cassie McAlister (and husband Mark), Jennifer Martin, and Julie Martin. Great grandchildren Madison Vogelsong, Dallas Lewis, Troy Lewis, Landry Lewis, Presley Yarborough, Nash Yarborough, Baby McAlister, and Noah Higginbotham.He is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Rebecca Benningfield, his brother and sister-n-law Kenneth and Sara Martin, and his sister Ann Dawson.
