Geneva Inez Hirsch

Geneva Inez Hirsch, 84 of Havana, FL. passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, December 22. 2021 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel (850-539-4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com). Interment will follow at Vickers Cemetery near Havana. The family will receive friends at 10:30 until time of the service.

Mrs. Hirsch was born on January 11, 1937 in Perry, FL. The daughter of the late Carey Stephens and the late Inez (Leggett) Stephens.

Mrs. Hirsch retired from Municipal Codes Corp, after more than 43 years of service. She was a master gardener/farmer. Well know in her community for her Collards, and greens. She loved flowers of all types. She also loved to fish.

She is survived by her children Brian Hirsch, Lenard Hirsch, Jr. (wife Carol), Fred Hirsch (wife Jewell), Connie Merchant (husband Jeff) Melinda Hirsch Butler (husband Louis). Her brother William "Bill" Stephens. Grandchildren Dana Bradley, Freddy Hirsch, Ron Hunter, Louis Butler, Mindy Shamburger, Maura Elkins, and numerous great-children.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lenard "Jack" Hirsch, her parents Carey and Inez Stephens, her sister Genevieve Mangum and her brothers Lamar, Fred, Rufus, and Gilbert Stephens.
