William "Carry" Johnson

William Carry Johnson, 89, of Havana, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 2:00pm in Vickers Cemetery in Havana, FL. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Faith Funeral Home in Havana (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com). The family request casual dress.

Carry was born in Calvary, Georgia on April 25, 1932 to Thomas Alvie and Curley Mae Johnson. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Carry retired from the Department of Transportation with the State of Florida after 37 years of service. Carry loved all things outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed farming and being on his tractor.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anita Johnson; three son’s: William Carry Johnson, Jr. (Janet) of Tallahassee, Robert Gregory Johnson of Havana, Kenneth Edward Johnson of Havana, One sister: Ollie Shelfer of Havana, 2 Grandchildren Melissa Johnson and Justin Johnson & Wife Megan Johnson both of Tallahassee and one great-grandchild and the family would like to thank Pat and Jeanie Dawkins for all their help.
