Wayland "Wayne" Burgess, 75, of Havana, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at a local hospital. He was born, April 3, 1937 in Charleston, WV a son of the late Wayland and Virginia (Morton) Burgess. Mr. Burgess was known a loving husband, kind father and loyal friend. Throughout his life Mr. Burgess has owned and operated several successful businesses. He is survived by his wife, Melva Jean (Toler) Burgess, Altamonte Springs, one daughter, Pamela Jean Burgess, Casselberry, one son, Stephen D. Burgess, Altamonte Springs, one sister, Madalene Frame, Nitro, WV, one niece, Catherine Henderson, St. Albans, WV. Faith Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.
