Biography
Walton Ray Hendricks 82 of Grady County, GA passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Cairo.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at chapel of Faith Funeral Home with Pastor Gordon Adank officiating the service. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Hendricks was born September 30, 1928 in Brunswick, GA. He was a U S Marine veteran, Retired Greyhound Bus driver for 39 years. A member of Concorida Baptist Church. He was a Ham Radio operator, and a member of the Thomasville Amateur Radio Club. He also operated a Citizen Band Radio with call letters KI4TFL
Survivors include his wife Arlene Hendricks of Grady County; step children Scott Hampton; Loree Weeks; Michael Weeks all of Tallahassee and Susan Weeks of Panama City Beach, FL. Three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
