Wallace Lamar Ulmer

Wallace Lamar Ulmer, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Wallace grew up in Quincy, Florida, where he met Helen, his “Havana Girl” and the love of his life. They were married in October 1958 and enjoyed 67 years together. Wallace was well known in the area for his auto paint and body skills and his love of old cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed listening to 50’s and classic country music while working on his collection of photos and memorabilia in his “memory room”.

Wallace is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Walter Ulmer and Macie Poppell Linton; brother, Bill Ulmer; and sisters, Rhomell Burke and Doris Friday. He is survived by his wife, Helen Mills Ulmer; sister, DeLois McElcannon of St. Augustine; daughters Vicki Rowan (Webb), Donna Sanders (Al), and Lorrie Williams (Randy); grandchildren, Lindsey Kinsey (Andy), Tyler Bradford (Cassandra), Justin Jones, Kaitlynn Ison (Jason), Ashleigh Floerke (Charlie), and Aimee Williams; and great-grandchildren, Tommy, Macie, Helen, Connor, Brodhi, and Beau.

Visitation will be at Faith Funeral Home in Havana, Fl Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 2pm to 3pm EST. The service will follow at 3pm.
