Terry Burns Hunt, 85, of Havana, Florida went home to be with our precious Lord and Savior on Monday, August 25, 2025.

Terry was born on September 14, 1939 in Havana, Florida to the late Mark Hunt and Julia Bell Hunt.Terry served eight years in the US Air Force and Reserves during the Vietnam conflict. He retired from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital after 18 years as the Maintenance Supervisor. Terry's passion was fishing. You could find him freshwater fishing on the Ochlockonee River, Lake Talquin, and his favorite "The Little River". If not there, you could find him saltwater fishing with his son in the Gulf of America. When not fishing, you could find him enjoying time at the casinos in Biloxi with family and friends. He was an avid FSU fan but most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his companion, Ms. Sue Moore of Havana; his son Gene Hunt (Candice) of Midway, daughter Lisa Hills (Michael) of Tallahassee; seven grandchildren, Cyndi Crum (Kameron), Myndi Qualls (Ryan), Sharon Hill (Terry), Sarah Hills, Ryan Hills, Elizabeth Hills, and Shelby Hills: Ten Great Grandchildren, Makenzee, Landon, Leland, Logan, Byron, Hayden, Zach, Emily, Alex, and Athena. Brother-in-law Dale Evenson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Richard "Kevin" Hunt, brother Mark "Glen" Hunt (Pam) and sister Elsie Evenson.
