Ted L. Biddy, P.E.
Ted L. Biddy, long time resident of Tallahassee and Havana, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011. He was 73.
He was born in Acworth, Georgia, served in the U.S. Army for three years, graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in civil engineering. As a senior, he taught surveying at Tech.
He was a member of the Havana Golf and Country Club where through the years, he enjoyed the game and the time spent with fellow golfers. His football teams were Georgia Tech and FSU, his baseball team was the Red Sox.
He loved the Lord and the Bible and had served as a deacon and a Bible teacher.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carolee; his daughter Lisa Kozakoff (Dennis) of Atlanta, Georgia; daughters Candice Shreve (Rodney) and Lee Ann Griffin (Richard) of Tallahassee; son Royal Dunn of Tallahassee; sister Jenette Hood (Joe) of Kennesaw, Georgia; and grandchildren Marilee and Jefferson Griffin, Aaron Kozakoff and Laura Shreve.
He was a gentle man, a rock to his family
Faith Funeral Home in Havana handled the family services. Interment was at Woodland Cemetery in Havana.
