Sydney Marie Chaires, also known as Peggy, passed away November 15, 2023 at the age of 82. She was born in Tallahassee, FL on October 1,1941 to the late Louis Sidney Reeves and Blanche Marie Reeves. The graveside service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 at White Church cemetery, Woodville, FL at 1:00 p.m..

Peggy was preceded by her husband, Alvin Samuel Chaires Sr., and son John Parkhill Chaires and brother Farris Lagrande Reeves. She is survived by her daughter Rita Mathis (Greg) ; son Alvin Samuel Chaires Jr.; two brothers Lewis Reeves Jr.; Jack Reeves:; one sister Mary Lottie Reeves; her grandchildren Bandit Chaires (Holly), Christy Chaires-Wilbert (Hunter)' Garrett Coggins (Taylor), Daniel Coggins, Drew Mathis, Morgan Hartsfield (Billy), twelve great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Franklin Chaires (Frances) , nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

She retired from Sears, hobbies enjoyed working in her yard everyday-picking-up sticks and pulling weeds.(always)., loved music and beautiful flowers.
