Biography

Scott Lee Eiland, 48 of Havana, FL. passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at his residence.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel in Havana. Internment will follow at Concord Cemetery with Military Honors, and Pastor Bill Bess officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. Faith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com)

Scott was born August 17, 1964 in Jacksonville, FL. The son of John L. Eiland and The late Jean Marie Billings Eiland. Scott was a U. S. Army veteran serving in the 82nd Airborne. He was a Master Carpenter. Scott was an avid Gator Fan. His family best describes Scott as just a "Country Boy" He loved his family, and would do anything for anybody.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Susan Renee Dalton Eiland of Havana His father and step mother John L. Eiland and Sandy Eiland; his two daughters Crystal Eiland Smith and Amber Dalton; two brothers Randy Eiland (and wife Patti) and Shane Eiland. Two sister Jennice E. Kazimier (and husband Chris) and Denise E. Roberts (and husband Frank) two grandchildren Camren and Cassidy. Many aunts & uncles and nieces & nephews.

Scott is preceded in death by his mother Jean Marie Billings Eiland, and a grandson Clayton Smith.
