Biography

Sarah Frances Mayo 78, of Havana, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at her daughters home. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Havana First Baptist Church with internment at Salem Cemetery (Jackson County). Mrs. Mayo was born June 12, 1932, in Florala, AL, the daughter of William Dillard and Mabel Burns Dillard. She married James M. Mayo on September 4, 1952. She was a member of Havana First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years James Mayo; one daughter Deborah A Jett of Havana (husband Bobby); two grandchildren, Blair Jett of Havana and Eric Durrance of Tallahassee (wife Jennifer); and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd, Tallahassee, FL. 32308
