Biography

Sandra D. Woodham (Baxley) Cantrell, was born in Tallahassee, FL. to Foy & Elma Woodham on June 15,1955. Sandy, later married and moved to the New Orleans, LA. area for 35 years. After raising her children there, she returned back home to Tallahassee in 2012. Sandy passed away at home on January 5,2014 at 4 a.m. with her family by her side. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

The funeral service will be held at 12 noon on January 9, 2014 at Community Baptist Church with Pastor Tony Kelly officiating, Interment will follow at Southside Cemetery, with Steven Baxley Jr, Billy Sevin, Ronnie Sevin III, Noah Baxley, Steven Baxley III, and Joshua Sevin serving as active pallbearers.

Sandy leaves behind a daughter, Sandra D. McDaniel (Stacy) and son, Steven E. Baxley, Jr.(Angela) and 5 stepchildren. Kathie Barton, Carlye Barton(Hayes),Angie Lemacks, Chad Cantrell (Ginny), and Stephanie Duncan(Jeremy); 2 brothers, Charles Harrington and Harold Woodham; sister, Glenda Money (Ken) also, 29 grandchildren that she loved more than life itself. Her lifelong/childhood sweetheart, Steven E.Baxley,Sr. and her companion/family pet, T-BONE.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Captain Ronald D. Cantrell; father, Foy Woodham, and mother, Elma Woodham; brother, James Earl Woodham; 2 sister-in-laws, Emma Jean Harrington and Anita Woodham.
