Ruth Lambert-Spencer

Ruth Lambert-Spencer passed away peacefully at her home in Havana, FL on August 25, 2021. She was born in Havana on December 6, 1935 to Austin and Nellie Lambert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Pat Garrett; and husband, Platt Spencer, who has surely been patiently awaiting her, as he always did.
Ruth was feisty and fun, with a wit unmatched by anyone. Fishing was a lifelong passion and she loved hosting fish fry's surrounded by family and laughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Moore; grandchildren, Jeremy Moore and Elizabeth Whigham; and nephews Randy (late wife Sheri), Jeff (Tempie), and Mike Petty.
A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Big Bend Hospice.
