Robert Donohoe

March 23, 1923 — July 1, 2007

Robert M. Donohoe, Sr., age 84, died July 1, 2007 in Tallahassee, Florida. A Marine Corps and Air Force Veteran of 30 years, he was a long time member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church and a long time resident of Panama City. He was a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus and active in many civic organizations. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and the Marine Corps League. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Penney Gilbert Donohoe of Panama City. He is survived by his sister, Sister Catherine Donohoe of Wilmington, Delaware, and six children including John Delaney Donohoe, Robert Michael Donohoe, Jr., Daniel Anthony Donohoe, Joseph Henry Donohoe, Mary Catherine Donohoe Corder, and James Raymond Donohoe. He is also survived by four step children including Gail Marie Perry, Catherine Hicks, Danny Gilbert, and Shirley Dunaway, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Panama City at 10:00 a.m. central daylight time. The burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Pensacola at 3:30 p.m. central. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Jesus Our Hope, 10519 S. Deer Creek Road, Littleton, CO, 80127.
