Biography
Regina "Reggie" Whipple Shields, 56 of Havana, FL, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 15, 2012 at First Baptist Church Havana, with Dr. Eric Erskine officiating. The internment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Faith Funeral Home in Havana (850-539-4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com)
Reggie was born May 31, 1956 in Tallahassee, FL, The daughter of the late William R. Whipple and Elma King Whipple. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Havana, She loved the Lord, and read her Bible everyday. Reggie was always smiling, a true people person, she loved her friends and customers. Most of all she loved her two children.
She is survived by her mother Elma Whipple of Havana, two children; Amanda R. Hardin (and husband Jason) and Bryan Lee Shields, all of Havana; her brother Tim W. Whipple (and wife Kay) of Havana; her sister Catherine "Cathy" Will (and husband Brad) of Monticello; her first cousin Patricia Bush; 3 nephews and 2 nieces.
She is preceded in death by her husband Steve Wade Scott, her father William Whipple and Grandmother 'Ma Maw" Charlsie G. Whipple.
