Myrtle Pearce

Myrtle Eulee Pearce 93, of Tallahassee, FL passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Westminster Oak.

The funeral service will be held11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Aenon Baptist Church in Tallahassee. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Internment will be at Aenon Church Cemetery. Myrtle was a well known hairstylist in Tallahassee for 58 years. She started styling hair when she was 17 yrs old at Dale Mabry Field. Before retiring at the age of 75 yrs old she owned and operated several beauty salons in Tallahassee. Myrtle was an active member of numerous clubs during her life span. She was a proud high school graduate of Lively Vo-Tech at the young age of 75. She was a member of Aenon Baptist Church most of her life and later a member of Bible Believers Fellowship Church.

Myrtle was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She was a devoted and active member of her church. She loved and served Jesus with all her heart and extended that love of Christ to all she met.

She is survived by her son, Tony Colvin (Jeannie) of Havana, FL, stepson Calvin Pearce (Jeannette) of Crawfordville, FL, three daughters, Sheila Baker (Gary), Elsie Baker (Kenny) of Tallahassee and Viviette Mollicone (Jeff) of Crawfordville, FL. She was the proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Gray and Alice Black Gray. Her sister, Gladys Westbrook, her son, Dale Colvin. Her former husbands, Robert Colvin and Earl Pearce.
