Mickey William Bridges, 72 of Quincy, FL. passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at his residence.
The visitation service will be held from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Faith Funeral Home in Havana. Mr. Bridges was born May 22, 1942 in Dothan, AL. The son of the late Willie W. Bridges and the late Mary Deese Bridges. Mr. Bridges moved to the Tallahassee area 35 years ago. He was the co-owner of A-9 Furniture in Tallahassee. He was a workaholic. He was a family man, He loved them all dearly.
He is survived by his wife Joan Bridges of Quincy, FL; His sister Debbie Kirkland of Cottonwood, AL; Two daughters Kim Brandhuber (Scott) of Montgomery, AL and Tressa Bridges of Montgomery, AL; five step children Dorothy A. McKenzie, Aubrey B. Barnes, Frank Barnes, Joni Barnes, and James B. Barnes; one niece; and one nephew. Four grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, Five step grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren.
