Mary Elizabeth Johnston-Hasler

Mary Elizabeth Johnston-Hasler, 80, of Tallahassee, FL passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. 
   A Celebration of her life is being planned for a later date.

   Mary was born on Thursday, December 23, 1943 in Escambia County, Florida, the daughter of the late Jewel T. Johnston and the late Ruby May Holland Johnston. Mary was a very special person that loved life. She touched everyone's life in her own special and unique way. She grew up in Lamont and Tallahassee Florida. She attended Leon High School in Tallahassee. She retired from Florida Department of Revenue after many years of dedicated service.

   Mary was survived by her son Raymond Allen (wife Jodi) of Rock Spring, GA and her daughter Melody Strickland of Tallahassee, FL, her brother John Henry Johnston and her grandchildren Michael McDuffie (Malissa), Clayton Tipton, Hannah Dewrell (husband C.J.), Blake Jessup (Brittany), Jonathon Allen and Joshua Allen, and one great grandson Brady Charles Dewrell. She also had very special friends Patricia & Rick Spikes who were always there for her and her family.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ben Earl Jessup, and her son Dennis “Jr” Jessup in 2024.
