Biography
Marty Ray Burns, Sr. 48, of Tallahassee, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013, at Capital Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Fort Braden Cemetery in Tallahassee. Marty was a lifelong resident of Tallahassee. He was the owner of Specialty Cuts Tree Service and was also a mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and attending mud bogging events.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jeri Burns of Tallahassee; one son, Ray Burns of Tallahassee and his mother-in-law, Barbara Mathis of Tallahassee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Ray Burns and Judith Ann Paul Burns.
