Linnie Ruth "Roof" Gray Walsh of Concord, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013, in Tallahassee.
The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m.on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Concord Cemetery. Born on August 19, 1922, in Grady County, Georgia, Ruth was the daughter of Miles Standish Gray and Gladys Irene Miller Gray. She married Loren William Walsh, Sr. on August 29, 1936.
She is survived by her children, Laverne Rudd (Freddie) of Havana, Douglas Walsh (Lonnie) of Concord, Carolyn Newsome of Tallahassee, Marcene Walsh of Concord and Loren William Walsh, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, James Sellers and Clarence Sellers; one sister, Ada Mitchell all of Ft. Myers; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996 and two sons, Horace Winston Walsh, Sr. and Kenneth Allen Walsh.
