Linda Kay Proehl

Linda Kay Stephens Proehl, 60, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Faith Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Climax, Georgia.

Linda was a truly incredible woman with a heart full of love for everyone she met. Outgoing, friendly, and deeply compassionate, she had a special fondness for all animals. A true outdoorswoman at heart, Linda loved spending her time fishing with her dad, riding four-wheelers, and camping. She shared a profound connection with the water and felt most at peace at the beach, which she often called her safe space. Whether she was enjoying the outdoors or listening to the timeless music of Frank Sinatra, Linda lived life with spirit and a strong, unwavering faith.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Tim Proehl; her two sons, Christopher Proehl and Nicholas Proehl (and wife, Bethanie); her loving parents, Paul and Mavis Stephens; her sister, Denice Ingram (and husband, Bernard); her three precious grandchildren, Mirea, Zayden, and Abbiegale; her nieces, Alexis and Ashley, along with many other cherished relatives and dear friends.
