Linda Ruth Allen

Linda Ruth Allen, 87 of Havana, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Faith Funeral Home Chapel in Havana. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 10:00 AM on Wednesday.

Mrs Allen was born on February 17, 1938, in Milton, West Virginia, to the late James Oliver Jackson and the late Mary Ellen Hunt Jackson. On January 31, 1957, she married Leamon Green Allen; they were married for 68 years. She graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught school for many years in the Gadsden County School System. She was a faithful member of New Hope Christian Center in Havana. She loved great fellowship and food. She was passionate about her hobbies. She collected Native American Art Pieces and Jewelry. She also loved animals, especially her loyal companion, Molly, a rescue, who was by her side for 14 years until Mrs. Allen’s passing.

She is survived by her husband, Leamon Green Allen; her children Aaron Allen (wife Marcia), Deborah Allen, and Mark Allen (wife Brenda); Four grandchildren Carol Allen, Will Cannon (wife Leslie), Amy Senft ( husband Jason) and Kristen Massengill ((husband Brandon); Eight great-grandchildren Donielle Allen, Ronnie Barton (wife Tina) Alexis Barton, Durham Senft, Lawson Senft, Hasten Senft, Shirley Clare Massengill, Kathryn Massengill. And two great-great-grandchildren Emery, Allen, and Ronnie (RJ) Barton.

Memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Allen may be made to Champs Chance, Inc. or The Good Karma Project.
