Laura Jane Lapushinsky; 51, of Tallahassee died on June 27, 2008 of a recent illness.
A funeral Mass will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Tallahassee. With the burial at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
Laura attended North Texas State University in Denton, TX. as an Art Major. Upon returning home to New Jersey, she worked for the Freehold County Prosecutor's Office. In 1989 Laura moved to Tallahassee and applied her graphic art education at Homes & Land Publishing, and in 2008 she trained in web design for a new position at Website Diner LLC.
Laura loved her church charity work, much of which involved food distribution. She was an animal lover who participated in dog rescues as well.
Laura is survived by Two brothers, Timothy Northey of Jermyn PA and Thomas Northey of Sparr FL; Three sisters, Kathleen Johnson of Honesdale PA, Ethel Fahey and Patricia Sponholtz of Tallahassee; Four nephews- (2 of which were her godsons); Three grandnephews and one grandniece. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lapushinsky.
She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
