Keith K. Scott 85 of Havana, FL. Died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at his home. A memorial service is being planned for a later date in Charlotte, N.C. Faith Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements. (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com )
Mr. Scott was born September 16, 1923 in East Liverpool, Ohio. He was the son of the late Ben and Ethel Scott. Mr Scott was a U S Army veteran serving WWII. He served in the 82nd Airborne 504th parachute Infantry regiment. After the his service in the military. He served on the North Carolina Highway Patrol and the Mecklenburg County Police Dept. He retired from the American Schlafhorst Company in Charlotte, N.C. He loved bowling, and served as President of the Charlotte Mens Bowling Association
He is survived by his wife Ruby Scott of Havana, FL: a sister Mona Evans of Havana: his children Pamela Spivey (and husband Stowe) of Charlotte, N.C. Keith Scott (and wife Carol) of Midland MI. And Teresa Olstad ( and husband David) of Matthews, N.C. His grandchildren; Kyle Spivey, Jeff Scott, Zachary Scott, David Olstad (and wife Melanie) Robyn Olstad and Cathy Oliver.
