Biography

Julian Earl Sansom, 69 of Havana, FL. passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Capital Regional Medical Center in Quincy.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Concord Victory Assembly of God Church,. interment will follow at Concord Cemetery, Pastor Lannis Stephens officiating the service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 6 till 8:00 p.m. at Faith Funeral Home in Havana (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com )

Mr. Sansom was born July 16, 1944 in Altha, FL. The son of the late J.W. Sansom and Madeline Goodson Sansom. He was a electrician by trade. He loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed his garden and watching it grow. Most of all, he loved his children and grandchildren and all their activities.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Nancy Sansom of Havana, a son Julian E. Sansom Jr. of Havana, two daughters Wendy Buyers (Bruce) of Tallahassee and Nicki Bedgood (Jody) of Greensboro, His brothers James (Cooney) Sansom (Frances) of Greensboro; Bobby Sanson (Annie) of Chattahoochee, his sisters Alice Mulford (Duwood) of Milton; Shirley Hunt (Grady) and Sandra Allen all of Greensboro; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Lisa Michell Sansom, and his brother Wesley (Huck) Sansom.
