Biography

Joyce M. Gunn, 68, of Havana died Sunday, August 26, 2012 in Tallahassee. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dan Gunn of Havana. The family will receive friends from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Faith Funeral Home in Havana. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Salem United Methodist Church in Havana, with interment following at Woodland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 646, Havana, FL 32333.
A native of Auger, Ohio, she had been a resident of Havana since 1983. She was employed by the Florida Department of Children and Families for 12 years. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Stuart Gunn and his wife, Michele of Port St. Johns, FL; two granddaughters, Chelsea and Jennifer Snowden of Blountstown and their father, Frank Snowden; mother, Kathleen Collins of Camilla, GA and three brothers, Vic and Tim Collins of Tampa and Jim Collins of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Michele Gunn Snowden; her father Bernie Collins and two brothers Richard and Dan Collins.
