Johnny Nall, 81, of Havana, passed away early Monday, September 8, 2025 of complications from multiple heart conditions.
Johnny was born May 19, 1944 in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Hialeah High School in 1962. Johnny was an avid outdoorsman. He grew up hunting and fishing in the Everglades as a young man and into adulthood. He also hunted in Texas and Georgia and loved spending time with his many friends who also enjoyed the sport. Johnny was a kind person and never refused to help those who needed it.
Johnny was a sheet metal mechanic, who worked on many iconic buildings in South Florida, including the Miami Heart Institute, Centrust Tower and the Panthers Arena. He loved taking care of his home, and was especially proud of his yard, spending many hours keeping it mowed and free of weeds and debris. People often remarked that it looked like a park. Johnny was also an avid sports fan, being a lifelong supporter of the University of Miami Hurricanes, and almost never missed a NASCAR race.
Johnny was also devoted to his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Cleo Nall; his daughters Lisa Fuillerat and Sandy McLaughlin; grandson Michael Fuillerat; and his aunt and uncle, Joan and Warren Pinder. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary Nall; daughter, Becky Avrett (Ryan O’Neal); granddaughters Mandy Fuillerat, Colleen McLaughlin, Hannah Avrett, Grace O’Neal, and Olivia Avrett; Cousin MaryEllen Letvinchuk (Jack); and brother Wayne Nall.
Visitation will be Friday, September 12, 2025 at Faith Funeral Home, 6972 Florida Georgia Highway, Havana, Florida 32333 4-6 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to www.whitetailsunlimited.com/donate, or Friends of the Everglades www.everglades.org
