Johnnie L. Durden, 86 of Concord died, Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be at Concordia Baptist Church in Concord Florida, Saturday Feb 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM. With Pastor Gordon Adank officiating. Internment will follow at Vickers Cemetery in Havana. Family will receive friends Friday from 6 til 8 p.m. Feb 9, 2007 at the funeral home. Faith Funeral Home in Havana ( 850-539-4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com) is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Durden was born March 19, 1920 He was a member of Concorida Baptist Church He was a US Army veteran (Military Police) serving in WW II Mr. Durden retired from Florida Division of Parks and Recreation in 1982, after more than 25 years of service.
He is survived by his daughter Marie Zunk of Tallahassee and a grandson Vernon Zunk of Tallahassee. A sister Glennie Mae Perritt, and a brother Leroy Durden both of Concord. Several Nieces and Nephews.
