John V. Quakenbush, Jr. 66 of Havana died Thursday, May 24, 2007 at his home. The family is planning a private memorial service at a later date. Faith Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements (850-539-4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com
John was a proud member of the Bricklayers Union of Florida. He was a master brick mason for many years. He had lived in Havana for the past 15 years. He enjoyed his family and life.
Survivors include his son James V. Quakenbush of Millbrook, AL. And five daughters Rebecca L. Ribbing of South Park, FL. Joni C. Bolton of Sal Lake City, UT. Jeri Thomas Sandy Thomas of Bute, MT. and Deborah M. Knezovich. One brother Steve Quakenbush and two sisters Brenda Martin of Swansboro, N.C. and LuAnn Vincent of Mebane, N.C.
