Joel Aaron VanDyke

Joel Aaron VanDyke 64, passed away on January 26, 2026 after battling complications from seizures. He was born in Maryland to Rose & Neal VanDyke on September 18, 1961. He is survived by his family Bill & Laura Burnopp that were like adoptive parents to him. They cared for Joel from his very early adult years through to the end. He is also survived by his brothers Danny & Steve VanDyke, and his sister Grace Johnson. Joel was preceded in death by his sister Mary Alice Perkins, and brother Adam VanDyke. Joel had a very kind soul and helped everyone he could without looking for anything in return. Because of this kind nature he also had many friends. He enjoyed the outdoors with gardening and taking care of his pets, especially his cats. Joel is being cremated and currently there is no scheduled service.
