In 1982, he and his beloved wife Elaine moved to Tallahassee, Florida, where he proudly served as a Leon County Sheriff's Deputy until his retirement in 2018. His years of dedicated service made a profound impact on the community he loved so dearly.

An alumnus who earned his Associate’s degree, Jimmy was not only committed to his profession but also to serving his country. He honorably served in the United States Coast Guard, demonstrating his bravery and commitment to the values he held dear.

In his personal life, Jimmy was known for his exceptional personality. Always easy-going and laid-back, he had a unique ability to connect with people. Friends and family will remember him as someone who never judged but offered support and friendship instead. His presence was one that brought comfort, laughter, and joy, qualities that made him truly unforgettable.

Jimmy's love for his wife, Joyce Elaine Beall, was profound. They began their journey together in high school in Miami, Florida nurturing a bond that only grew deeper with time. His devotion to Elaine was evident in all that he did; he adored her and made it clear that she was his greatest pride.

Beyond his professional life, Jimmy found community and solace at Simply Grace Community Church in Tallahassee. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he cherished the connections he built there.

In addition to his loving wife, Jimmy is survived by many friends and community members who will miss his compassionate spirit deeply. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Samuel Grady Beall, who surely welcomed him with open arms.
