A native of Saltillo, Tennessee, Mrs. Gunnels was formerly of Tallahassee and had lived in Live Oak since 1971. She had a great love for animals and was quite creative. She enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting, rug-making and all arts and crafts.
She is survived one son, Jack L. Gunnels (Cindy) of Ventura, CA; two daughters, Linda Jo Gunnels of Live Oak and Theresa "Cricket" Holland (Spessard)of Havana; two grandchildren, Delaney Johnson of Tampa and Mackenzie Marie Gunnels of San Diego, CA and one great-granddaughter, Rylee Johnson of Bristol.
