Janet Sue Rhodes Larson 74 of Tallahassee, FL passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011 at her residence.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday March 27, 2011 at Tallahassee Memory Gardens with Reverend Robert Shelley officiating the service.
Ms. Larson was born November 8, 1936 in Waynesville, NC. the daughter of Ted R. Rhodes and Hattie Lou Bradshaw Rhodes. She has lived in Tallahassee for the past 33 years. She retired with Florida Department of Transportation after 30 years. She was the Executive Assistant to the Secretary of DOT. She was a member of Christian Heritage Church.
She is survived by her son Eric Larson (wife Karrie) of Tallahassee; Two daughters Jill Larson Ganey (husband Sgt. Kenneth Ganey) of Tallahassee and Victoria Sustana (husband Mike Sustana ) of Trenton, FL. Her brother Teddy Rhodes (wife Janet) of Candler, NC. and Four grandchildren.
