James Monroe Mayo 82, of Havana passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 at his daughters home. James was born on May 5, 1929 in Jackson County, Florida. The son of Mark Mayo and Beanie Swails Mayo. He was a retired commercial truck driver. He was a self educated and wise man. He was a member of Havana First Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by wife of 58 years Mrs. Sarah Frances Mayo. Survivors include; one daughter Deborah A Jett of Havana (and husband Bobby) Two grandchildren Blair Jett of Havana and Eric Durrance of Tallahassee (and wife Jennifer) and three great-grandchildren
