James Lamar Hawkins

James (Jim) Lamar Hawkins , of Lake Talquin, was born Aug.7, 1939 and died Sunday May 9,2021 at the Dozier Hospice House. He was survived by wife, Betty Hawkins, and brother, Billy & Delores Hawkins, and three sons: Cliff (Lori), Timmy and Jimmy. He was also survived by grandchildren- Katie, Lindsey, Timmy Jr., Lance, JL and Grant and great grandchild- Landon.

James worked at Talquin Electric for 34 years and retired from there in 2001. He loved his family and enjoyed being surrounded by them and his many cats and dogs.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 @ 2:00pm in Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy Florida.
