Biography
James Harrell Chandler, Jr 66 of Tallahassee passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
The memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 26, 2011 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel in Havana (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com) with Father Kevin Johnson officiating the service.The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
James was a U.S. Navy veteran, he served on the Navy's Air Craft Carrier The U.S.S. Oriskany. He served from August 1964 to August 1968. He was an HVAC technician specialist. James was a true outdoors man. He especially enjoying fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his mother Vina Chandler; a sister Sandra Ingold (husband John); a niece Stephanie Flipping (and husbannd Darren); and his life partner Carolyn Newsome.
