Irene Marie Murray

Irene Marie Murray, 77 of Carrabelle, FL passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

The graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery, Carrabelle, FL.  The family will receive friends at the Carrabelle Assembly of God Church one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am.

She was born August 7, 1939 in Kuna, Idaho the daughter of the late Wallace Briggs and the late Josephine (Green) Briggs. Our Mom fought a good fight for quite a long while. She is perfect now and running around Heaven in her new white gown. If you had the privilege to know my moma, you know she wants everyone happy, she loved life to the fullest and dressed as a clown for a good laugh. Her life was tough but she always found humor in every challenge she faced. We love her laugh and will miss her terribly!

She is survivors by her son Gregory Starkey of Carrabelle; two daughters Renee Sue Starkey of Tallahassee; and Threasa Marie Clayton (Travis, Sr.) Of Carrabelle; 5 grandchildren Travis, Jr (wife Kelli); Tamra "TJ"; Michael; Sarah; Truett.  5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Eugene Briggs and a grandson Lathanel Carnes.
