Biography
Huey S. Whitehead went to rest in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, December 8, 2013. Born July 22, 1951 in Grand Ridge, Florida, he was a long-time resident of Tallahassee, FL, a deacon at Bible Believers' Fellowship Church, and an employee of the Department of Transportation for over 25 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Arnettie Whitehead, and an older sister, Johnnie Myrl Deebs. He is survived by his wife, Katrina Whitehead; son, Anthony Whitehead, and his wife, Alicia of Fishersville, Virginia; three brothers: Joe Whitehead and wife, Shirley, of Crawfordville, FL; William Whitehead and wife, Tina, of Cottonwood, FL; Don Whitehead of Tampa, FL; and one sister, Lola Whitehead of Grand Ridge, FL.
A viewing will be held Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 6 to 8:00 pm at Faith Funeral Home in Havana, FL. (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com) His funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Bible Believers Fellowship Church in Tallahassee with Pastor Dennis Young officiating, with graveside service to follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens in Tallahassee
