Harry Marshall Snowden, 73, of Tallahassee, died peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
He was born Jan. 2, 1945 to Leona and Bill Snowden in Tallahassee. He graduated from Leon High in 1963. He was lover of all things in life. He was a boat captain, contractor, accomplished musician and true gentleman. He was not only a "jack-of-all-trades" but a master of all as well. There was nothing he couldn’t build or fix, from cars to air conditioners to boats. He was happiest during his time in South Bimini – fishing, boating, and taking care of island friends.
He was always concerned with everyone else’s needs over his own, and always had a positive attitude even when faced with adversity.
Survivors include his wife, Edie Gibson Snowden; sons, Lee A. Snowden (wife Liz) and Harry M. Snowden Jr. (wife Angie); a stepdaughter, Kasey Law(Brett); a brother, William Snowden III (Joan); and four grandchildren he dearly loved, Drew, Zachary, Lily, and Noah.
Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice 1723 Mahan Center Blvd Tallahassee, FL 32308.
An informal reception for friends and family will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 2631 Bantry Bay Dr. in Tallahassee from 5:30 p.m. to 9-ish.
