Biography

Gary Alexander Simpson, 56, of Havana, FL. passed away on Sunday July 27, 2014 at his residence.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Charles Pettis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Meadow Wood Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallahassee, FL.
Gary was born July 5, 1958 in Ft Myers, FL. the son of James Lee Simpson and the late Gerlean H. Simpson. He has lived in the Tallahassee area most of his life. He was employed with Simpson Electric for many years and later helped run the family business Havana Sod Farms. He was a member of Tallahassee Church of God. Gary also served as passed president of Northside Lions Club in Tallahassee. He was an avid NASCAR and avid FSU fan. Gary had a deep appreciation for Devita Dialysis Center Staff (northside) in Tallahassee.
He is survived by his father James L. Simpson. He is preceded in death by his mother Gerlean H. Simpson
