Frances (Powell) Williams

Frances Williams was born August 28, 1930 and passed peacefully in her sleep February 10, 2023. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She had a great love of family and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She was known for her homemade sour cream pound cake, chicken salad and pimento cheese.Grandma Frannie is survived by her devoted children JoAnne Tuggle (Johnny), Don Williams, Jr.(Leigh Ann), Carolyn Harty (Jim), and Martha Jackson; grandchildren John Tuggle (Lori Anne), Jane Brenters (Jeroen), Vivian Brandt (Grady), Jaime Williams, Mandy Archer (Drew), Jason Jackson (Katie) and Brad Jackson (Shaina); 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Williams, Sr., parents Lois and Lawrence Powell, sister Anne Arrington, grandchildren RoseAnne Tuggle and Trent Williams and two special nieces that were like daughters to her, Margaret Johnson and Mary Lil May. Visitation will be held at Faith Funeral Home in Havana on February 12, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The family will hold a private graveside  service.
