Biography
Edward H. Morris, 86, died suddenly on Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Anne Irwin Morris; their daughters, Sheridan Ann Morris of Quincy, FL and Bethany Ann Hook (Ed Hook); granddaughter Akela George; great-grandson, Finnley Quickest all of Lancaster, OH; sisters, Eleanor Pinson of San Jose, CA and Jean Moore of Waverly, OH as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ed retired from Owens Illinois in Columbus, Ohio as a Department Head, He was a World War II Army Veteran, an avid golfer and volunteer at Seminole Golf Course in Tallahassee. He belonged to Forest Hills United Methodist Church in Quincy.
A memorial service will be held at Forest Hills United Methodist Church (1729 W. King St., Quincy, FL 32351) at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 9th. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
