Edith Clements Shelfer, 83 a retired school teacher, died Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Wallace "P. W." Shelfer.
The Graveside service will be at 11a.m. (EDT) Friday at Shelfer Cemetery in Havana. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday night at the family home. Memorial Contribution may be made to National Parkinson Foundation 1501 N.W. 9th Ave. Miami, FL. 33136 Faith Funeral Home in Havana (850) 539-4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com is handling arrangements..
Survivors include a son, Randy Shelfer of Havana; a daughter, Suzanne S. DeLongy of Winter Park ; a sister, Nell Darnell of Tallahassee ; and two grandchildren, Blair DeLongy and Brant DeLongy, both of Winter Park, Florida
