Dorothy Melissa Smoody 82 of Havana passed away Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009 in Quincy. Her graveside funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009 at Woodland Cemetery in Havana. Faith Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com. )
Mrs Smoody was born February 10, 1927 in Miami, FL. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her three daughters Joan Kilpatrick of Fort Myers, FL.; Sanda Light of Havana; and Jean Rutland of Havana; One brother Jack Fritchey of Clewiston, FL. 11 grandchildren,18 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Judie Aunspaugh.
