Donald Robert Johnson, Sr. 52, of Tallahassee, FL, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Bible Believers Fellowship, Tallahassee, FL. with Pastor Dennis Young officiating the service. Internment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Johnson was born November 6, 1959 in Jacksonville, FL., the son of Robert L. Johnson, Jr. and Frances Farolene Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was an associate Pastor at Bible Believers Fellowship for many years. He loved nature, hunting and baseball. He loved young people, and opened his home to many. He especially loved his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Lori Johnson of Tallahassee; his parents, Robert L. Johnson and Frances Farolene Johnson; one son Donnie Johnson (wife Stacy); two daughters Jennifer Dawn Drake (husband Kevin) of Tallahassee and Ashley N. Sanders (husband Jarrod) of Havana; two brothers Jessie Johnson of Baldwin and Greg Johnson of Tallahassee; one sister Eula V. Walker (husband Mike) of Tallahassee; and 8 grandchildren: Levi Vickers, Anna Leia Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Justice Johnson, Langston Sanders, Jeremiah Johnson, Lacey Johnson and Delaney Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
