Clara Nell Hollingsworth

Clara Nell Hollingsworth, 92, of Havana, Florida, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at her home.

Ms. Nell was born on October 24, 1933, in Tallahassee, FL. the daughter of the late James Clayton Wells and the late Bessie Lou Throne. Mrs. Nell was a graduate of Madison County High School. Later attending and graduated from FSU.

She married Mr. Bobby Hollingsworth in 1953; they shared a unique and special marriage for 63 years before Mr. Bobby’s passing in 2016.

She was a teacher and librarian at Robert F. Monroe School. In retirement, she enjoyed golf, FSU sports, but mostly driving antique cars, going to car shows with Bobby, and hanging out with his "Antique Automobile Club of America" friends. Bobby and Nell were often in their classic cars in parades across the area.

Ms. Nell is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Ivie (husband Rusty) of Havana, and Lynn Hollingsworth of Havana. a son, Bob Hollingsworth (wife Susan), and two grandchildren, David and Aubrey, of Gainesville, FL.

The Homegoing Celebration (Her going home party), as she requested, will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Faith Funeral Home Chapel in Havana.

Private family burial at Old Philadelphia Church Cemetery.
