Civil Louise Alexander, 82, died Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at her home in Havana. Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 am EST, Friday at Woodland Cemetery in Havana. Mrs. Alexander was born October 11, 1923 in Elba, Alabama. She married C.R. Alexander in 1941. They owned and operated the Western Auto Store in Havana for 20 years at that time they opened and ran Alexander Furniture. She was an avid bridge player at the Wednesday Bridge Club in Havana. She was one of the founding members of the Ladies Golf Association in Havana. She was a charter member of the Havana Golf and Country Club. She was a den mother to the Boy Scouts for many years. She was very active in the Havana community, and a very fun loving person.
She is survived by her Husband of 64 years, Mr. C. R. "Pop" Alexander. Other survivors include two Sons, Ray Alexander (and wife Linda) and Gary Alexander (and wife Susie) both of Havana, Florida. One Brother Harold Donaldson of Lake City Florida. Five Grandchildren; Chip (and wife Sandy) Alexander of Quincy, Melissa Grable (and husband Steven) of Tallahassee, Trey Alexander of Havana, Laura Brown(and husband Mark ) of Panama City and Hank (and wife Terri) Alexander of Havana. and Four Great-Grandchildren and special caregiver Nettie Darsaw
